"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

Other Stuff
We need as a nation founded on Christianity to get on our knees and fast before the Lord to conquer the enemies...We are God's children, let's act like it! Keep our hands raised in the air to the Lord until we win this battle. The battle belongs to the Lord! We just need to give it over to Him and humble ourselves as a nation gone astray. The Lord is shouting, "Come back to me, NOW!"
Only the strong Christians can stay in prayer to get the weaker ones to come alive with their devotion to God, until all America is back where it should be. One Nation
under God.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:27-28

Delight in the journey

Those who delight in the journey will also get the most
enjoyment after reaching the destination. Those who whine and complain all
the way there will continue to be miserable even when they arrive, if they
ever make it that far.

Find joy and fulfillment in the process of achievement and
the rewards will be most fulfilling too. For the real value of the reward is
in the effort, the commitment, the substance of life that goes into reaching

Certainly it takes a great deal of effort, focus and
discipline to achieve an ambitious goal. But who says those things must be
unpleasant? Actually, whether something is unpleasant or not is usually just
a matter of opinion. And you are free to change your opinion at any time.

Imagine what would happen if you could truly and sincerely enjoy
those activities that are necessary for reaching the success you desire.
Consider how much more interested, enthusiastic, skilled, committed and
persistent you would be.

Take delight in the journey, enjoy what you're doing, while
you're doing it, whatever it may be. And you'll truly arrive in style and
grace, wherever you wish to go.

-- Ralph Marston

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

Other Stuff

A church had a man in the choir who couldn't sing.

Several people hinted to him that he could serve in other places, but he continued to come to the choir.
The choir director became desperate and went to the pastor.

"You've got to get that man out of the choir," he said, "If you don't, I'm going to resign. The choir members are going to quit too. Please do something."

So the pastor went to the man and suggested, "Perhaps you should leave the choir."

"Why should I get out of the choir?" he asked.

"Well, five or six people have told me you can't sing."

That's nothing," the man snorted. "Fifty people have told me that you can't preach!"

"I inherited a painting and a violin which turned out to be a Rembrandt and a Stradivarius. Unfortunately, Rembrandt made lousy violins and Stradivarius was a terrible painter." Tommy Cooper.

A friend of mine is the Sunday School teacher for a class of four and five year olds. One little boy came to class all excited one Sunday. His mother bought an old fashioned player piano, having wanted one for some time. "We've got a player piano at our house," he announced proudly. One of the little girls in the class looked at him smugly and remarked, "That's nothing, we've got a real one at our house."

We're getting back to good old-fashioned family values at our house.
At dinner last evening my daughter even pushed the TV mute button when we said grace.

For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.

(Praise Report)

Hi Joanne,
Today Judy and I visited Jimmy at John Heinz Rehab Center. He didn't
believe much in prayer he is positive that he is alive and
well because of the power of prayer.

All of the tests done on his brain, memory, and physical tests came out
100% normal. He said he is going to go to church every Sunday as soon as
his recovery is complete.

We found out that 1/4 of his lung had been removed in a previous
operation. This operation removed the last 3/4 of it. He now has only
one lung and one kidney. He looks as good as ever, all dressed, shaved,
sitting up, joking and laughing.

We brought gifts of chocolates, then he wanted a coke, peanut butter
crackers, and a piece of coconut cream pie from the cafeteria. I think
he's enjoying himself, being pampered. He deserves it after what he
went through!

He declined strong pain medication, said he didn't want anything
stronger than Darvocet. He wanted his mind to be clear, after being in
that forced coma-like state for 5 days before the operation.

He remembers during that time in Philly, seeing the "white light" and
someone saying, no, you have to go back".....things like that.

So, he is now a true believer, thanks to you and your prayer warriors.
Just wanted you to know all is well. Praise the Lord!

Love, Mom
